I hope you’re having a great Sunday. It’s been rainy and wet here over the weekend, but the weather is a welcome break from the unrelenting heat we’ve endured all summer.
I have a few updates on Breaking Measures. The book is in the final editing process and will be released on all retail sites on September 24, 2015. It also has a gorgeous new cover and trailer, which I’ll be revealing on my blog and social media sites on Tuesday, September 15 so mark your calendars! 🙂

Advance Review Copies (ARCs)
I’m giving out a copy to any reader who will leave a review either on a retail site (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or iBookstore) or on GoodReads within one week of release (by October 1).
ARCs will be sent out on Wednesday, September 16.
Come back Tuesday to see the new cover and trailer reveal!
I’m thrilled to finally share with you the cover and blurb for A Woven Silence!
As you know, the current newsletter serial, Breaking Measures, is a stand-alone prequel to this work, which will be my next full-length novel release.
No release date yet on A Woven Silence, but Breaking Measures will head off to my editor this week and will be released with a new cover at the end of September (in both e-book and print).
I couldn’t be more pleased with this gorgeous design by Sarah Hansen of Okay Creations and I think the imagery does a great job of conveying the complex, intertwined nature of the story.
I hope you love it as much as I do!
In a small, forgotten town at the foothills of Blue Mountain, three children decide to take their future into their hands, changing the course of their lives forever…
Despite the unraveling of her personal life, concert pianist Leila Cates returns to a world she thought she’d left behind and is pulled into a murder investigation that stretches from New York’s glittering stages to the belly of the criminal underworld.
Leila teams up again with NYPD Detective Orion Frazier and what begins with the death of a prominent businessman quickly turns into a twisted maze of deception and betrayal.
Struggling with a violence spanning over two decades, Leila and Orion discover long-buried secrets that set off a dangerous chain of events. How far would people go to protect those they love?
An unnerving psychological thriller, A Woven Silence is a riveting novel of love and loyalty, retribution and atonement, in which four individuals confront their darkest truths and a past that will not die.
This summer, the Ondine Quartet series e-books will be exclusive to Amazon and will not be available for purchase at any other retailer. The e-books can also be borrowed for free for those with Kindle Unlimited. Paperback editions will still be available at all current retailers.
If you don’t have a Kindle, you can still read these e-books on most digital devices (from phones, desktops/laptops, and tablets) using the free Kindle reading app, which can be downloaded here.

WHAT EARLY REVIEWERS ARE SAYING
“10 out of 5…Yes, it was that good!” – Jennifer, Book Worm Coalition
“Breaker was everything I had wanted it to be, and a bunch of other things I didn’t know I wanted, or needed. It was the perfect combination of somberness and hopefulness. There wasn’t a single second of this that I would change, even the parts that broke me. They all added up to something so incredible.” –Tricia, Book Worm Coalition
“I can tell you that it is one long, amazing thrill ride, filled with trials and tribulations, and all you have is your friends.” – Lindsay, Goodreads review
“I have no words. Emma Raveling is an INCREDIBLE writer and all I can say is this final installment went above and beyond all expectations. My only regret is the end of an AMAZING series. LOVED IT!” –Jen, Goodreads review
“10 stars. Absolutely perfect ending to an incredible series.” – Melanie, Book Passion for Life
“Breaker is everything I hoped and needed it to be. Emma Raveling has written the stunning, fierce, and surprising conclusion that both readers and her characters deserve. I cannot thank her enough for giving this magical series to the world!!” – Aeicha, Word Spelunking

Hello, awesome readers! Aeicha, assistant extraordinaire here to announce some very good news…Breaker ARC sign-ups are now OPEN!! I know y’all are so excited to finally read Breaker (trust me, you are gonna love it!), and now you have the chance to read it before everyone else.
A few notes to remember…
- Sign-ups are open to both bloggers as well as readers who leave reviews on retail sites (Amazon, B&N, iBookstore, etc.).
- Because this is the highly anticipated series finale, ARCs will be extremely limited due to piracy concerns and not everyone who signs up will be guaranteed a copy.
- The purpose of ARCs is to generate advance reviews for a book’s release and are reserved for those willing to post a short review. If you do sign-up we ask that you be willing to read and post your review in a timely manner. If you are unable to do so, please refrain from requesting a copy.
- Due to the limited number of ARCs, we’d like to give opportunities to those who are able to read/review in a timely manner.
If you are chosen, you will be notified by e-mail on January 19th and will receive the ARC on January 22nd.
